Conference on Women's Health in Times of Global and Planetary Change
From the 16th to the 18th of September 2022, the working group "Frauen in der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit (FIDE)“ together with the "Addis Ababa University" invites to it’s 27th annual conference. The conference "Women's Health in Times of Global and Planetary Changes" will take place online and in presence at the University Hospital Halle (Saale). It offers an interdisciplinary platform for the discussion of solutions to global challenges in women's health.
Among the main topics of the conference is the empowerment of communities to create equitable access to health care. In addition, new approaches to women's health in times of climate change and the multiple determinants of health will be discussed.
Together with its members "FIDE" works to improve the health of women in low- and middle-income countries. Also, the reduction of poverty and the improvement of equal opportunities play a central role.
