Else Kröner-Fresenius Foundation invites applications for tandem professorships and research scholarships

The Else Kröner-Fresenius Foundation (EKFS), co-financier of the Hospital Partnerships Programme and funder of humanitarian projects and medical science, starts 2023 with two exciting calls for applications. Hospital Partners and interested professionals working on child health have the opportunity to apply for two newly created tandem professorships to sustainably strengthen patient care and research in a low-income country.

While the first professorship will be based at a German institution, the second will be filled in close cooperation and coordination with the first in a low-income country. The focus of both professorships will be on joint research, teaching, clinical care, counselling and training. The goals are to strengthen structural medical care and improve local paediatric training. Both professorships are supported with a total of 5 million euros in funding from the EKFS for 5 years.
