Call for applications for the Tandem Professorship in Child Health
In addition, hospital partners* and interested professionals working on child health have the opportunity to apply for two newly created tandem professorships to sustainably strengthen patient care and research in a low-income country.
While the first professorship will be based at a German institution, the second will be filled in close cooperation and coordination with the first in a low-income country. The focus of both professorships will be on joint research, teaching, clinical care, consultation and training. The goals are to strengthen structural medical care and improve pediatric education locally. Both professorships will be supported by a total of 5 million euros in funding from EKFS for 5 years.
Physicians from university institutions or German institutions cooperating with them can still apply until March 31, 2023.
