New: BMZ brochure "Hospital Partnerships work"

What do the Hospital Partners in Laos really do? How many projects are carried out within the framework of German development cooperation? And how important are they for people who need medical help on the ground, for example in Ukraine? The new brochure "Hospital Partnerships Work" now provides answers to these and many other questions. After its first publication in June 2021, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) has now published it in an updated new edition.

On 16 pages in A4 format, the GIZ funding program presents numerous partner projects with facts and figures, including on the topic of women's tumours in Ethiopia and Corona emergency aid measures in Ghana. In the foreword, Federal Minister Svenja Schulze discusses the importance of partnerships committed to UN Sustainable Development Goals No. 3 and No. 17. "Mutual exchange, trust and shared learning are the hallmarks of hospital partnerships," it says. The reading is aimed both at existing Hospital Partners of facilities around the world and at those interested in learning more about the program and its goals.
