Kick-off of the virtual lecture series on climate and health: On Wednesday, 3rd November, the Planetary Health Academy lecture series for trainees, students and employees of all health professions started again. The lecture series is organised by the German Alliance for Climate Change and Health (KLUG) together with Health for Future. The lectures discuss different facets of climate change and its impact on our health and health care. Experts from different clinical disciplines, including paediatrics, intensive care medicine and public health, will guide the lectures and show the connection between planetary health and our own health. The aim of the lecture series is to raise awareness and educate all health workers on the health impacts of climate change.

The lecture series is free. It takes place on Wednesdays, from 5-6.30 pm CET. The next lecture will take place on 1st December on the topic of "Perinatology and Paediatrics in the context of Planetary Health".
