The partnership between the Evangelischen Krankenhaus Alsterdorf gGmbH and the Tanzanian Cardinal Rugambwe Hospital (CRH) is committed to the improvement of medical care for vulnerable groups in Tanzania, particularly for persons with disabilities.
Problem: Vulnerable groups, including people with disabilities often have difficulty accessing medical care in Tanzania.
Main Activities: The goal of the project is to build a stable Hospital Partnership. This will be achieved through mutual partner visits and the establishment of focal topics as well as development of training materials and knowledge transfer between clinics.
Short-Term Effects: A collaborative foundation for the Hospital Partnership should be developed.
Long-Term Effects: The care of vulnerable groups in the catchment area of the CRH will be improved through the sustainable establishment of a Hospital Partnership.
